How to manage fertilizer and water correctly for oranges?

In recent years, orange planting has developed rapidly and become the economic growth point of increasing farmers'income. Orange is welcomed and loved by consumers because of its sweet juice and residue. The high-yield management technology of orange planting is introduced as follows.

How to manage fertilizer and water correctly for oranges?

I. Selection of Fine Varieties for Orange Planting
The strong seedlings planting oranges should choose the varieties with good comprehensive properties such as Newhall. The seedlings should be free of diseases and insect pests, with a trunk diameter of more than 0.8 cm and 2-3 branches.

II. Site Selection and Garden Construction for Orange Planting
Reasonable dense planting can generally choose mountainous areas with abundant water sources, convenient transportation, north-facing south, deep soil and loose fertility to build gardens. Terraces should be well laid on sloping land to build gardens. Generally, the bandwidth is more than 2.5 meters. The length, width and height of planting holes are 1 meter, and trench depth is 80 cm and width is 1 meter. The planting specifications of oranges are row-plant spacing of 1 m x 1.5-2 m, and planting time is before spring shoot germination or after autumn shoot maturity.

III. Fertilizer and Water Management of Orange Planting
1. Applying adequate basic fertilizer
Weeds 25-40 kg, calcium superphosphate 1.5 kg, lime 1.5 kg, chicken manure or bran cake 1.5 kg per plant, buried in 3-4 layers from coarse to fine, one layer of soil and one layer of fertilizer, lime sprinkled on the fertilizer surface, filled to the full eight points of the cave, chicken manure or bran cake (with a little calcium superphosphate for 3 months), applied to the top layer of the cave, and then raised the pier 30 cm, 70-80 cm wide. In case of sinking and water accumulation.
2. Fertilizing young trees
1-2-year-old oranges were fertilized 6-8 times a year, with emphasis on promoting shoot fertilizer and strong shoot fertilizer in spring, summer and autumn. Shoot-promoting fertilizer was applied 10 days before shooting, mainly nitrogen fertilizer. One-year-old trees used 25-50 grams of urea per plant, two-year-old trees used about 0.1 kg of urea per plant, and dripped with manure water or curd bean bran water. Long-term application of strong shoot fertilizer was mainly phosphorus and potassium fertilizer, 75 grams of compound fertilizer was applied to one-year-old trees and 0.1 kg to two-year-old trees.
3. Fertilization of adult trees
Fruit hanging began in the third year after orange planting, and fertilizer was applied in the whole year, including germination fertilizer, strong fruit fertilizer, autumn shoot fertilizer and fruit picking fertilizer. Sprouting accelerating fertilizer was applied in late January, 0.1 kg urea per plant, 0.2-0.3 kg compound fertilizer, 50 g borax and 50 g magnesium sulfate per plant; strong fruit fertilizer was applied in late May after the second physiological fruit drop of orange, 0.4-0.75 kg compound fertilizer and 75 g potassium sulfate per plant; autumn shoot fertilizer was applied in late July, 0.25 kg urea per plant and 1 kg compound fertilizer were sprayed on each plant; fruit picking fertilizer was applied three days before fruit picking. Each plant was sprayed with 0.25 kg urea and compound fertilizer.
